Jeremy Johnson (aka J-Dog) is a big believer in the Counterparty platform and in having tokens on the Bitcoin blockchain and has been supporting the platform since its early beginnings 7+ years ago. He has built a bunch of tools and services like xchain.io, freewallet.io, coindaddy.io, and many others, and has also been hosting counterparty.io, counterpartytalk.org, and all the counterwallet.io servers. Counterparty and building features and tools for it has always been a been a "hobby" project since J-Dog became involved in the Counterparty platform back in 2014, and over the years he has built many great tools and supported the platform in his "spare" time on nights and weekends. During this time however he has had a full-time job to cover his living expenses and that continues to take time away from what he really wants to focus on, which is being able to focus on growing and building on the Counterparty platform full-time. This asset has been created to collect donations for funding J-Dog to focus primarily on Counterparty development and give him the security that he needs to feel confident to quit his full-time software development job and focus on Counterparty and building additional features and tools for the platform.
